Bama is just following Bear's ideals. Pay the players the money and they will show up. Saban is just as much of a piece of garbage as the bear was. Nothing new coming out of Alabama.

Dude, he doesnt get to suit up. No real difference made in the first season is my prediction.

Like him while you can--he's a nomad. Never happy where he is and won't be happy in Bama for very long. If he wasnt happy in LSU, he definitely won't be happy in Bama. Like it or not, LSU is the cream of the crop in the West.

envy? I'd still be ashamed if I was an alabama fan. How much money can you give a guy? he was a poor NFL coach and not nearly the best college coach. How does he deserve this much cash. Alabama is still living in denial.

He is going to have a problem convincing kids that he will be there the entire time that they would be playing for Alabama. Recruits can see when a coach is all about moving around. He told recruits at Michigan State he was never leaving..he left. He told the recruits at LSU he was never leaving..he left. He told the Dolphins he would never leave Miami..hey left.

That does not look very good to a recruit.

Im not happy with our current coaching staff. and I have said Im excited for alabama. Im really hoping UT can get thier ducks in order and next year welcome saban to the Third Saturday in October with a lost :)

your not going to get a argument out of me. congrats on getting one of the best college coaches around. you will own us in a couple of years. those are the breaks you have universities that care about winning championships and those who don't. we don't.
