'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

The same can be said that Florida/Alabama is the only official he has scheduled, so why do that if it isn't Florida.

Truth is, nobody really knows.

My question is, why do the UF mods feel so good at this point? Have they been in contact with DJ? And if so why is DJ not talking to Hubbs? I felt much better when he was talking to our mods, media and not replying to UF's.

You really don't think there's a difference between an already scheduled OV during the season for (arguably) the biggest game of the year and an unofficial on a meaningless weekend day in August which just happens to be the day after he commits?

From what I've read DJ has shut it down for almost two weeks now...I think the UF mods are confident now for the same reasons they were confident a month ago...it doesn't seen like there is any new info out there that they are basing their confidence on

The UF mods are probably talking to Collins.

Hearing from some fl fans that its a done deal. He's going to fl. Where they are getting the info from I have no idea. If this is true then it goes to show that it dosent matter how many times a kid visits a school. He can still opt to play elsewhere. Hope they are wrong. Go vols.

Just don't let any of these weirdos run you off with their uneducated mouthing off. I appreciate your info.

Still nothing new on dj, the coaches are hush hush about everything. cant even find out anything new on redmond, last week coaches were very confident about him as well.
even if im wrong here ill continue to post what information i get/hear from coaches. like ive always said, been wrong in the past and ill be wrong in the future, but more times than not the coaches will be correct with the feeling they have concerning a recruit.
im not like brent and a few other people that ill hold on to what information i have because i have concerns about being wrong.
you dont like what i post? simply dont read it or ignore me, will not effect me in the least.

Eye'm sure they don't know anymore than Waco or Hialeah gator, and they can't say anything is for sure themselves.

Murr!

I think this is what everyone was hoping would get us moving forward with snagging some big time recruits.

If we whiff after all of this a lot of hope that's been restored in the last few weeks is going to be sucked out the window.

Supposedly his scrimmage in Gaston County on Saturday will not affect this 'scheduled' trip to Knoxville. If this is indeed true then it has to be good news. This info is not from me but someone on TOS.

Do you want any eggs with that waffle bro?

Do you know when or why they get quiet from past experience? Is it when they feel good and the recruit wants it quiet or when they aren't confident?

they got quiet because someone let the info out on peterman and blanc literally minutes after the coaches were contacted.

The point is none of it matters. If he goes to UT, why schedule the official to Florida. if he goes to Florida, then why go to UT on the 6th?

This isn't over regardless of what he says Friday.

I want to make this thread go even longer by asking the question and seeing who can answer honestly.

Who needs DJ more, Florida or Tennessee?

UT. Our lackluster D necessitates the ability to smash. We haven't smashed well for quite some time.

From a roster standpoint I think it's clearly UF...

From a momentum/perception standpoint...UT hands down

A week ago our August was supposed to include commitments from Redmond, Humphries, and Croom. Now most feel we will miss on all 3. Yikes!

Tennessee. Just because we need head to head wins on the recruiting trail against top SEC schools. The fact that our own fan base is skeptical of us pulling a top recruit is awful.
