'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

Couldn't have said it better....

We have several very legit reasons to feel good about this....they are so good that even the Gator fans have completely changed their tune about DJ...

It used to be they were completely confident that he was going to UF...so much so they that talked to us like we were fools when any of us said we liked our chances...

Now look at them...none of them are confident about it...even the ones that are normally very loud about their confidence aren't saying anything...

IF you buy into what Skeeter says (which I do) then you hold onto that and block out the other static that's being posted here and on other message boards...

Skeeter will tell us if anything has changed but to this point it hasn't

ALL HAIL SKEETER.....everyone on this board sure does have a stiff one for Skeet Skeet Skeeter.

I beleive skeeter, he always brings great info, but I just have a bad feeling about this. I know he is not Gabe Wright but he is a teenager making a tough decision. Hope for the best, expect the worst lol.

you guys always had a decent shot especially since we been tryin to get 3 tackles in the top 50 lol plus goodman

ill be very happy with the 3 fla boys(dunker, young, goodman) if we get em

getting all the 3 would of been hard for any team to beat OL wise and hard for any team to get 3 guys of that caliber

I have confidence in what skeeter brings to the board -- I can think of few, if any, that has demonstrated a better track record.

Equally important, though, are the logical reasons for Humphries to choose Tennessee over Florida, the most obvious ones being distance and proven quality of coaching.

Humphries will not be pressured into making the mistake of taking immediate playing time here -- he is not yet physically ready to play in the SEC trenches (265 lbs) and will need a year in a good college S&C program before he is ready. Humphries is not a dumb kid and he knows that. By the time his rs year is over, James will be a jr and that will give Humphries that year (rs freshman) to gain SEC experience by being in the rotation. If James goes to the league after his jr year (or if either James or Tiny get injured), Humphries will likely start his sophomore year and be a star for us while he prepares himself for the NFL.

Tennessee is a campus he likes very much and he is rightfully in love with the coaching staff (especially Hiestand) and all our facilities.

So not only do we have good information from skeeter, we have logical confirmation just based on the facts that this is the best place for him.

Skeeter.

Did not go to FNL. (you DO NOT miss that if they're still in it)

CHH. Parents. Dooley.

Tiny. Stone. Jackson. JJ. Etc., etc..

Charlotte ---------------> Knoxville.

Filter out the static, choose yourself and then don't let the nay-sayers talk you into drinking that nasty tasting grape flavored crap in the styrafoam cup.
Agreed. I go with the kids actions pointing towards him being a Vol.

I do agree, but some people don't use logic when making a decision:). I think he will though.

Bryce Brown thread had to be shut down because it slowed down the board and a second Bryce Brown thread had to be started...so not really.

I wonder what the number would be if you added all the "Is Bryce Coming Back" threads.

Yah, that thread was pure, unadulterated insanity. Too bad he transferred - I would like to see what he'd have done for us injury-free, and with some time in the SEC under his belt.

In other news, come on over to The Hill, D.J.

I remember how insane it was. I guess i had just forgotten how many posts were in it.

really dont have anything new on dj other than apparently collins is really working him hard for uf. that was from dj to one of our coaches. our coaches must be confident for good reason.
