How many teams run the spread in the Big 12?

Take out Nebraska now and obviously A&M and thats two of the bigger run teams in the league.

He will be a situational player at A&M, he even said as much himself.

the main spread teams in the Big 12 are Tech and tu, and the stat took out nebraska and colorado. The SEC runs 58% to passing 42%, The Big 12 is 50% run and 50% pass, the NFL is 45% pass to 55% run. Food for thought...

Its not how many times you run the ball its the formations that you run out of.

rumors of aTm moving to the SEC have nothing to do with Santos. recruiting a LB is so miniscule in comparison to the bigger deal.

which is Mr. Beebe playcating to the Longhorns every need and want...

No. This was talked about last year when Nebraska and Colorado we going to leave the Big 12 and the Pac16 rumors were going on. texas was the one who started talking to the Pac10 and convinced them to start a super conference and add tu, A&M, colorado, tech, okie, and okie lite. A&M felt they could stand on their own and not have texas make choices for them, so they started talking to the SEC. This has been going on for awhile, starting when Arkansas joined the SEC. A&M will be in the SEC on day. They are the closet thing to being a SEC fanbase thats not in the SEC.

Bottom line is the kid himself sees the difference in the play styles as well as everyone else in the world, except those who refuse to. ;)

Good luck to him. I hope he can make it work there and still be the impact player he really is.

I agree he is a SEC style MLB, but with that being said, he will excel at A&M or Tennessee.

I think he will also. But even he has said he prefers the SEC style because of the RB's in the conference and the way we play smashmouth. I think his numbers would be better here, jmo.

So is it done? Has he committed to Texas A&M or was it just a rumor? Really sucks if we missed on this guy. I had high hopes.

Aggie said it was a false rumor.

Texas Aggie said:
the free section of TexAgs is so stupid, so many uninformed posters. Luicci, the owner of TexAgs, posted at 7 that the rumor is false. Please, don't listen to the free section (the zoo) of TexAgs.

Yesterday, The Oracle indicated that a Santos commitment in the near future wouldn't be solid because he could easily flip.

That comment is open to interpretation, so it's probably wise to be patient for this guy.

This kid will be very successfull not matter where he plays. I think in the end A&M will win out just because it's way closer to home.

told multiple recruiting sites that he would have a decision within two weeks of his last visit, which was Tennessee. We should hear his choice within the week sometime.

If he does announce soon I think he will be an Aggie...I don't think with our distance one visit will be enough to get him to commit to us.

JMO...if we can get it to go till december and get him back for an official I like our chances better.

im pretty sure dalton wont waiver on his commitment for whichever school he choses. He already has offers from all the schools he wants, he is taking his time to make sure he picks the right school.

Von Miller was the first LB drafted in the last draft. A&M used to be Linebacker U. we can hold our on with LB

Miller was a different type of player though. Santos style is more suited for the SEC. Either way someone is getting a great player but I think he would be better prepared for the next level in the SEC.
