i'm glad we improved. but are you seriously satisfied with 9-4?? i know i'm not.
Hard to argue about any tangible gain from the results of a meaningless bowl game. That is my only problem. Had this been a regular season game, I think I would be much more upset.

other than it shows even w/ a month of planning our coaches still can't get it done. i think there's a lot to see. this was fulmer's chance to prove he got us back to where UT should be. to say he failed miserably is an understatement of epic proportions
You simply never know what a kid is really playing for in these games. I agree the team did not look prepared. I simply think that if your goal is a BCS game and you wind up in the Outback Bowl there is little a coach can do to get you excited about the game. A coach has little or no leverage, especially with outgoing seniors. Believe me, if I felt I could blame this all on CPF I would be the first one in line.
I'm serious about staying the hell away from this board. FOR A LONG TIME. It's nuts that all these supposed fans have NOTHING positive to say about the program even with the great improvement over last year as well as the fact that these players (offensively anyway) are operating under a new coach and system. Add to that our injuries and I think we did a heck of a job. Thank God the team doesn't WHINE like all these "fans". See you next year.:mf_surrender:
How much longer will we rest on that laurel? Yes us fans will continue to fill the seats (I personally will continue to drive my 7 hours twice a year to see and experience a Tennessee gameday) in the same breath I will continue to express my discontent at the fact we are stuck in a rut and need to get out of it no matter what it takes. Face it loyalty today depends on production. and he is not producing! If it werent for an Arkansas fumble in 98 then no one could use that year as an excuse.Seriously not all 104,000 game day fans feel that way. If they expanded it by 20,000 more seats the place would fill. Its Tennessee football.

How many of us are willing to quit filling the seats at Neyland Stadium every Sat.?
Until 110,000 people quit going to every game and using their money to pay Phil's salary, no change will ever be made. What kind of message are we sending??
i'm done. i went to a lifetime low 2 games this year and untill there are some real changes made i won't be attending anymore games. whats the use it's not like we are going to win anything anyway. it's the reason i returned my season tix last season. we lose to all the good teams at home. i'll spend the extra money going to watch the b-ball vols and coach pearl. atleast they care. they want to get better. we are a basketball school now anyway.
I find it hard to believe champ is not going to anymore games! Real good fan you are to by the way... Fairweatherhmy: cough
