Is that the same US that practiced forced segregation at the time? Had Japanese internment camps? Was allied with Stalin?
From a moral standpoint, I am not about to say that the US was definitively more moral than Nazi Germany.

we killed people in the internment camps? you don't get degrees do you? you are like the guy who complains he's in jail for killing his wife because the judge is unfaithful to his.
rofl. In history people usually blamed those who enslaved them/colonized them. This is completely different.
You're saying the world is 'jealous' of us. You sound like USC's former AD.

They hate us because we are obviously better than everyone else. Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that we don't respect their sovereignty.
i think you overestimate our political influence when it comes to their hatred and underestimate our cultural influence. it's the "westernization" of their culture they are pissed about. they don't want change.
yes, but we are talking degrees here. is anyone arguing that nazi germany wasn't worse than the US? or south africa during apartheid?
Parts of the manifesto written by the suspect in Norway's terrorist attack were taken almost word for word from the writings of "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski.
The passages copied by Anders Behring Breivik appear in the first few pages of Kaczynski's manifesto. Breivik changed a Kaczynski screed on leftism and what he considered to be leftists' "feelings of inferiority" -- mainly by substituting the words "multiculturalism" or "cultural Marxism" for "leftism."
More on the Norwegian culprit.

In Iran? This argument might work for plenty of Arab states, but not Iran. Shia Islam is not literal. Persian Shias have embraced culture, science, art, etc. from Europe and Asia for fourteen hundred years.
