Most are pretty upset, and rightfully so. We missed on a big time kid, but like I said earlier, one kid doesn't make or break a program, but he can certainly help.

This was a big miss by Muschamp and his staff. If he wants to make Florida relevant in the discussion again, these are the kind of kids he can't afford to consistently miss on when they zero in.

Our class will still end up decent, but not what we thought it would imo. We'll still get some decent players, but the future isn't quite as clear about where we are headed.

As much as I hope you are right, one year is not enough in recruiting to establish that Dooley will always lock guys up tight with their verbals.

I wouldn't get to down on him yet after all its just his first year. Its just like with CDD, he's just got to build relationships with the kids.

waco, at what point in time are you going to be consistent.

ratings don't matter, but now if florida wants to be relevant in the discussion again these are the kids they can't miss on?

if ratings don't matter, wouldn't a bunch of lesser rated lineman be perfectly ok?

tennessee's class would be very good with a mix of 3 and 4 star guys, but florida misses out on one 5 star guy and florida has recruiting issues and has to work to become relevant again.

in addition, while i want this kid very badly as he has nfl written all over him based on all the info i can get, if you have a problem with florida's recruiting situation right now.......you really need to plug in and get a clue

I just said these are the kind of kids that Muschamp can't miss on. He wants big OL to run the football, and DJ fits that bill perfectly.

I also see you edited your original post.

He has to get kids who fit his new offensive scheme, especially kids that favor Florida, regardless of ranking.

I don't remember saying I was unhappy where we are, just that we need some more focus on the offensive side of the ball as this class right now is very defense heavy.

people call me a troll, but i maintain one standard.

not one standard for tennessee and then a different standard for florida.

like when blanc was rumored to be committing to tennessee, it was a good pickup for tennessee.

when a vol poster hinted that florida was trying to get in on blanc, waco didn't seem to think he'd be a good pickup for florida.

I said that we had other kids rated higher, not that he wouldn't be a good pickup. We have other kids higher on our board.
