Hey brah, shyness is a B to overcome. Get shot down once and it could kill a person's confidence.
You sound like me at that age
I was in seventh grade with the girl I actually asked out. It was her first year in TN, she moved here from Muncie, IN. She was a beautiful girl, brunette hair and ice blue eyes, really sweet attitude and sense of humour. We sat next to each other in English class the whole year and became close. I even gave her a necklace at Valentine's Day, just a friend's gift. I finally broke down and asked her out a week before summer break started, she told me she'd love to but she was moving back to Indiana. Long story short, she didn't move to IN and started dating some skate board guy and she completely changed. Never gave me the time of day after that.
Ooooh, well. She's an idiot and you're still you. Forget her and get trying again. Worrying about the 7th grade is stupid. We're here in the new millenium and time is short. She probably regrets it.
We might all have a story similar in our past, usa. I could tell you a hundred like that from my youthful days. Or, I could tell you one that would break your heart. I think we all have them. Part of life. Win some/lose some/lose some forever. There's the good side, too. You always see the stories of people who've been together for 20-30-40-50 years and more. Good stories there. Yours could be one of those.I was in seventh grade with the girl I actually asked out. It was her first year in TN, she moved here from Muncie, IN. Or she is heartless, but I digress...I agree you can't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
