I find that a plate of greasy eggs and bacon helps.

Grizz, what I actually used to do was get up and take a shower as soon as I woke up. Then, eat breakfast. And, it was usually cereal, oatmeal, etc. By that time, I was usually in good shape for the day. I'd start drinking water or juice (natural fresh squeezed OJ or something similar). The hangover and shakes come from all the alcohol dehydrating your body the night before and while you slept. A tip for getting and keeping a good alcohol buzz w/o all the adverse aftereffects=drink a glass of water
between each beer you drink. You'll still get
the feel good buzz and offset much of the
dehydration.
