Shanks didn't give AU any kind of commitment during BCW.

IMO, This will be another in state battle with UA leading at the moment. :hi:

I am hearing Shanks has dropped down our board. With the addition of Lake and we seem to be strongly after D Tomlinson, I am not sure where Shanks now stands with UA.

If he dropped it's because he doesn't want to go there. There is no way in hell UA would go after Lake before Shanks.


Lake going to UA really helped out AU for Shanks. :)

Like I said Shanks and UA are not going to happen. He canceled his visit to UA last week prior to Lake commiting to UA. He is still going to FSU next week. But again he will not end up at UA in the end.

AU/FSU it looks like now with AU leading.

with FSU getting BIG James Hamilton not sure if they will take another DT unless its a Top 100 kid like Goldman.

How so? Lake is a noseguard and Shanks is prob a DE in the 3-4. One doesnt have to do with the other.

He's 300lbs now. 294lbs according to Rivals. Kid is going to be a tackle in college.

Quinton Dial is a DE listed at 315..guys like Cam Heyward and JJ Watt play close to 300 pounds. They are DT who move outside in a 3-4. UF does this with Jaye Howard and this year Ease will move to DE in a 3-4 base.

OK. That's a few I guess. My Steelers have some big DEs also. You just don't see that many playing DE at that weight. 95% of them will play inside.
