This was the day after they rolled out DOCSIS III service to my area. Very few people had, at the time, a D3 compliant modem so I was pretty much the only person utilizing that tier. Motorola SB6120 modem and Cisco E3000 router with a very non-standard .bin loaded.
Now I get about 50/10 on a wired connection and about 25/7 on my wireless. I live out in Madison and all the neighborhoods that are going up around me are starting to impact my peak speeds. At 9pm I'll dip down into the 30s.
I can't get Comcast or FiOS where I live so it's Knology (not too bad) or Mediacom (suck suck suck).
Mine is the same every single time I check it so it may be capped. My modem is a little outdated. May try straight lining it directly with my incoming coax to see if it changes. Posted via VolNation Mobile
