hmm maybe that's why she loves going to asheville so much.Mountain air does wonders for the respiratory system. The difference is unbelievable after a few days.

It does definitely help. Haven't been at an altitude under 4500 feet in a long time. Before moving back to Knoxville for a few years, I lived at 6600 feet in So Cal. I do like it.Mountain air does wonders for the respiratory system. The difference is unbelievable after a few days.

Some people complain of headaches and problems sleeping. I've never had any problem. The air is cleaner around where I live which helps I'm sure. Now, Salt Lake City is another story. When I get up through the 8000-12000 foot elevation, the air is so sweet I swear I can taste it.i figured the lower oxygen levels would hurt though.
