Fact? Her experience in governing PEOPLE is grossly limited. She has zero foreign policy experience and has done JACK SQUAT to improve that in the past 3 years. For being so young, she has very little experience to make up for it (and that almost never works out in this field of work). There's too much left unproven.

for the Alaskan people. More progress was made on

largest private sector infrastructure project in North
American history and helps put us on the path to

leaving, they know who was behind this -
members of the W.H. and DNC locally and
nationally, and they have the goods on them.

In a nation of laws and not men, a lawsuit can
be a deadly weapon indeed. Any attorney knows
how debilitating a lawsuit can be. When a
governor is being sued to the tune of one new
suit every three weeks, the combination of the
time consumed by discovery and the costs of
litigation generally can rack up faster than
interest on a mob loan. If one is caught in the
grip of a severe legal disadvantage against a
determined foe, there is very little that
“creativity” can really do for you.

It is so basic. You can choose between a fight
you will lose as certainly as you will grow old
and die, or you can seek a strategic escape,
but you will pay a price there too.

She had to choose between the absolute destruction
of her family and her ability to govern versus the
transitory embarrassment of having people like you
blame her for getting professionally kneecapped by
her enemies.

To fault her for making the only reasonable choice
a good leader could make under the circumstances,
well, it would be like blaming Reagan for getting
in the way of that bullet that nearly killed him.

All of these are unfair statements, given the actual facts.

The decision to leave office centers around the
$500,000 in legals costs from the over 20 frivolous
law suits brought against Sarah Palin. These law
suits were orchestrated by operatives outside the
state of Alaska and many speculate they even came
from the Obama Administration.

Sarah set up a legal defense fund, calling it the
Alaska Fund Trust. A team of lawyers and over 4 law
firms cleared the trust and it was reviewed by law
professors prior to the launch of the trust in 2009.

This fund raised about $390,000. However, Palin
foes argued that such a fund violated Alaska’s
Ethics Act. They argued that the act prohibited
public officials from using their public office
for personal gain by raising funds for their
legal defense. Such a fund was ruled illegal by
Alaska’s Personnel Board. Sarah had to return all
of the $390,000.

Of course, Sarah set up another legal defense fund.
However, time was running out and bankruptcy was the
next disaster for the Palin family. Bankruptcy would
put her family in great danger, destroy their ability
to get credit and severely limit Sarah’s political
plans.

Another thing these frivolous lawsuits did was tie
up Alaska’s state government in processing the
necessary documents to fight the court cases. This
demand on the Alaska bureaucracy was becoming a
multimillion dollar cost. That was money Sarah did
not want to rob from the people of Alaska.
