I agree on 10-2 (sexist :)). On 12, I actually thought it had a great story, I loved the graphics and landscapes, I thought the voice acting was pretty good. I actually also liked the new battle system, setting up gambits and responses for battle situations. Maybe that's another reason, I'm usually an old-fashioned turn-based style RPG kinda-guy, but this one was a quasi-action style and I felt it was a perfect mix.

i don't remember a whole lot about the game play of 12 but i remember it being pretty good. However, i am a story guy when it comes to FF, and i couldn't get into the story at all. some of the lines and events in 10 and 7 are enough to give me chills. 12 just wasn't doing it for me.

I guess it's just an individual thing, I just enjoyed 12's story better than 10's. Different strokes lol.

idk man, hard to beat a love story, father son horrible relationship story, and giant monster killing the entire human race story all mixed into one. lol but you really need to play 7... its fantastic.

and no, i havent.

I liked 10's story, don't get me wrong, I just liked 12's more :lol:


You gotta try it, it is the bees-knees. I like it better than any FF I've ever played.

hmmm i might. what system? and idk, you need to try 7 before you rule out FF. i swear, i think i have played it through, 100% like 6 times. and you know how much crap there is to do in those games.

It's PS2. I'm anxious to try FF7 now :lol: I hopefully can find it in a pawn shop somewhere around here.

You should check them out, they are great. Fire Emblem has a more serious story, Disgaea has one full of cliches for comedic-effect.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the gamecube and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii are my favourite FE games.
Disgaea has 3 parts out, 2 for the PS2, 1 for the PS3. Part 4 is coming out in like September and looks awesome.

definitely should get one. ebay has the best deals.

and dang, i will have to look into some of these. doubt i will have time for many of them though.

I might check into it, I'm leery of credit cards and such because Mom and Dad nearly lost everything because of them.

They're great fun IMO

I'm just a sucker for a good RPG, I'd take them over any other game. I like others too, but RPG's are my cup of tea.

same here for the most part.

and a debit card isn't anything bad. it is just a direct link to your bank account. takes money right outta the bank, not credit.

Sadly, no. You can't find a job in this town. Only way to get one is to "know someone" or have a well-known last name. I've checked everywhere, they always say "Oh we're sorry, but we have a list of people we'd hire before you.....". Ok they don't say it like that, but that's what I hear and what they mean
