My A1C was 6.9, up from last checkup. Adjusted a few basal rates. For some reason my morning fast was 150 range. A little tweaking and I am down to 115 and 100 on great days.

My glucometer 30 day average has been 115, which is fantastic. I expect a better A1C nexttime.

Heard the dexcom was way better than the minimed. She still on a paradigm pump?

Those are some great numbers.

She is stll using the paradigm pump, and its integration with the minimed CGM was great. However, the Dexcom CGM's actual performance blows the minimed out of the water.

minimeds CGM was a POS. It gave me more problems than I could imagine. Was also worried of site infection. That sensor was huge and pit a large hole in my stomach. I would cover it but towards the end of life, I would have red irritation around the site.

My hypos are pretty rare lately so CGM is of no use. The accuracy sucked, if they had one that hit a blood supply and got a good reading then I'd be game.

too much fire road (5 miles). that and acorns is tough to run on. talked to a guy who wore a pair with some Injinji (sp?) toe socks. He said that makes a big difference. Going to try that combo soon.
