Brats at my neice's birthday part. My silly BIL had no peppers or onions or deli mustard. I don't do kraut but he didn't do that either for the peeps that do. He's the duke fan that never went to college. If he wasn't so nice i'd consider hating him.

Grilled burgers tonite. Slathered a little Arthur Bryants rich and spicy bbq sauce. Macs red hot chicharones. Cold Busch beer to wash it down.

Grilled pork loin in olive oil and assorted spices, Italian cold pasta salad, corn on the cob, and some grilling beans.

FYI those beans aren't bad for a change of pace

Also blue bunny red velvet ice cream=winner

went to Wok Hay tonight, had the Kung Pao spring roll appetizers, entree was TinJian tacos w/tilapia and white rice. The crispy spinach under the rice was excellent.

1st time I've ever been there and I liked it.

Boy, this thing was buried under tons of useless posts.

Hashbrowns, sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, jacked up scrambled eggs and something that was supposed to be a 'mater. Local 'maters aren't in yet due to weather.

sly, everytime i think of down home, good cooking i think of you for some reason. you and behr would be sadly disappointed at my last attempt at making gravy though

Good gravy, for me, just takes time and low heat. Good solution-try this instant gravy mix. You might be surprised how good it is. They have different types but my favorite is the black pepper gravy.
