People think we're chasing the tornadoes, but at the end of the day, they're chasing us.

Were you a witness to the recent Tuscaloosa tornado? My heart goes out to you. I know these times are tough.

No I took a direct hit from the f5 tornado that went thru harvest Alabama. It's the same tornado that hit Phil Campbell and hackleburg

Wow. I cannot imagine what that experience must have been like. Hope everything gets better

Yeah, I am so ready for some nice warm weather here. It's been a freaky weather year for many areas in the country.

I am not liking what these clouds look like in MO and Arkansas

The F5 that took out Joplin......the wife's family lives not too far from there. Her cousin lost her house (luckily, was at another family member's place about 20 miles away when it hit), and my in-laws lost every tree in their front yard. Kind of amazing, they had, I think, 10-15 trees in their yard.....I think every one of them came down, but not one touched the house. My father in law actually stood in his kitchen and watched the tornado go through his front yard (mind you, it's about 75 feet from the kitchen window to the fence.....crazy old Sailor....). I'll post pics of it once I get back to my room tonight.

Other family members had assorted damage, I think it took out a couple windows at the wife's Aunt's house, a section of the roof of the barn at another family member's house. Luckily, though, everyone made it through w/o getting hurt.

That's about as close as you can get.
