U.S. LSU Student Reportedly Plans to Burn US Flag

I don't know about anyone else, but this pisses me off and should be stopped. I don't care about people rights when it comes to this.

I hope someone finds out this kids country of origin and burns his country flag with his koran.

Bigger question:

Why is the Soldier on the far right wearing a tan beret? If he is a cadet or a part of the ROTC staff, he needs to take that off. Tan beret is worn by current members of the 75th; it is not worn by former members in different units (and, he certainly does not have the combat scroll, either).

Completely agreed. Anyone who stands up for the other guy's rights should be punched in the face.

This is only as important as people make it. If people want to cry and protest, the guy gets all the attention he wants and this becomes a big issue. If everyone just ignores it, then this guy is just going to be portrayed as an American hating lunatic. I'm hoping for that.

I would never burn a flag, but just because I'm proud (for the most part) of our country's history doesn't mean everyone has to be. They can burn a flag. No skin off my nose.
