If I were an NBA player who could only score uncontested shots from three feet away, I'd do everything I could to get everybody on the other team out of the way too. It's not Howard's fault that David Stern apparently decided at some point that you could only call one or two token charging fouls on Howard a game. How can you move the meter if Superman fouls out in the first half every time out?

Did you happen to hear the sound byte from Steve Holman's radio call from Game 4 when Howard picked up his 3rd foul with 1.1 to go in the half? Pure comedy.

I never really noticed it until this series, but man does Howard whine a lot.

This is literally the dumbest and most ignorant post I'd ever see on VN.

1) amway is the nicest arena in the league right now and If you've never been there then ****.

2) the guy gets ridiculed for being too nice and finally comes out using his dominant size and idiots like you ridicule him for that

3) Dwight gets fouled hard every game. In more than 900 fouls only one was called a flagrant(last night!) and he gets hit in the head alot. Dwight is too strong to go down and too strong to be stood up yet idiots like you will still ridicule him and the NBA.

4)He is one of the nicest people I've ever met so put your inferiority complex aside, open your ignorant eyes and realize how stupid your comments really are. Watch more than espn highlights and maybe you'll see the damn truth. Dwight gets screwed not the other way around.

Again he gets hit in the head ever foul by those retards zaza and Collins!!! Finally they called a flagrant in this series. You can't complain about Dwights whining when you cheer for floppers in zaza, Collins, and Crawford. A pathetic basketball team that I could never cheer for against any body even Miami.

Never noticed how much of a b!?ch half of the hawks team was until this series.

It kills me how oblivious Magic fans are to how dirty a player Dwight Howard is. He deserves every head shot he gets for flailing his arms out and elbowing people every time he is fouled.

I didn't hear that one, but I did hear him ragging on Howard a bunch of times during the series. Holman's hilarious when he gets outraged.

Howard's like a big version of Brian Williams, except that his whining is even more ridiculous because of how much he throws his elbows and shoulders around. They call about 1/10 as many fouls on him as he deserves, and yet he still pouts and preens on the few that they do. It's ridiculous.

What are you, his girlfriend? The guy routinely throws his elbows around recklessly. He leads with he shoulder into defensive players' chests all the damn time. He can't shoot anything other than a dunk or a layup, so his whole offensive game is based on knocking defenders out of the way to create separation at the basket. He gets a pantload of leeway from the refs, but then he still has the gall to whine and shake his head and throw his hands up in the air whenever they do call something.

Catch the pass. Shoulder the guy back a step to get some space. Go up for the layup or dunk. That's his whole offensive skill set. If they called the fouls on him they should, he'd have nothing.

Im guessing pierce, Garnett, and Glen Davis had it coming in the playoffs last year when they were drilled by poor Dwight Howards elbows? Glen Davis was knocked unconscious!! And guess what, Howard was T'd up. But you're right, they had it coming.

Steve is the best. He is the only broadcaster I know to ever be disciplined by the league. when called out Steve Javie for having a huge ego and " doing what he came here to do", when he tossed either Smitty or Deke from a game in the 90's, he became an Atlanta legend.

That's called a post game. You're describing shaqs game yet he has been dominant at his position. The center isn't supposed to have a mid range jumper. That's called a power forward i.e. horford or Brandon bass. however Dwight does have a mid range jumper and is working on it. That just proves yet again that you're focusing on a highlight and not the rest of the game.

So because I'm defending Dwight from your garbage ignorant "analysis" I'm his gf? Haha you're a joke man. You want Dwight to have a SF game at the center position then you want him to take head shots and not retailiate or protect himself. Awesome, you make so much sense. Skilled post players have quick feet and can hit a turnaround jumper. They beat defenders down low with skill, not by just fouling them out of the way. Heck, even Shaquille O'Neal has a few moves. Since Howard's just a big dumb hamfisted oaf, he has to throw his upper body around to compensate for the moves he doesn't have the dexterity to make.

Enjoy the offseason. It'll be the last one during which you can lavish hero-worship on your poor misunderstood heartthrob, because after next year he's going to drop Orlando like a bad girlfriend and get his ass to a real city as fast as possible.
