I apologize up front if there is another thread on this, but I haven't seen a status on him lately. Anyone hearing anything or already know something on our chances of JJ returning in the fall?

When something comes out about Janzen Jackson I guarantee you that you won't be able to not hear about it.

Surprised they've done such a good job of keeping his story quiet. I really figured that some people would dig and dig until they found out what's going on. I know this really goes without saying, but I truly hope all is well with him and he makes it back.

Nothing new. He's still reporting as necessary and telling the coaches he wants to come back sometime over the summer.

And yeah, you will hear all about it once there's a story on this.

the chances are better than 50% imo.

he is doing everything right atm and if he continues on this path, he will be back.

question is... and i dont really want to think about this but what kinda position does it put us in if he doesnt come back??

If he comes back, we'll have the best secondary in the league. If not, we will still be better back there than last year.

I remember at some point you said to expect to not see him in the Fall - I'm guessing he got on the right path at some point?

No surprise. Can be easily done when one keeps their mouth shut. Bryce Brown did it for a year. Marvin Harrison, the Colts former receiver did it and still does. Apparently, J. Jackson has this ability as well. You can dig all you want but if no one talks to anybody, the story is quiet.

Good news I guess. So is it safe to assume that he is working out his own issues and not taking care of family matters like they wanted us to believe initially?

how did they want you to believe it was family?

"We are continuing to support Janzen as he addresses his personal issues during this temporary withdrawal from school," Dooley said in a release by the school. "While he would still be eligible to compete if he enrolls this fall, nothing is more important than Janzen's personal well-being."
