I actually support hamilton's decision, but that is beside the point. He was possibly one of the best things to happen to the basketball program, an should be givin praise for that. So I'm asking you volnation, what was your favorite moment / player from pearl era?

My favorite personal moment was during Pearls first year when we were waiting outside of TBA for the Florida game that year. We were all out there drinking having a great time so excited for the game but had been out there forever.

Pearl then came out and gave an awesome speech and passed out tons of pizza. It was so awesome and I have loved him ever since.

Elite 8. #1 ranking. Pre-season NIT Tourney win. Team entering through the crowd. 2008 outright SEC title. 6 straight NCAA tourneys. Fundraising. Charity work. Brining TN back to relevance.

I was there! Best moment ever!

Aye, we had a gem. There's not a coach in the nation who was as charismatic as Bruce Pearl. We got first billing on ESPN even when we were mediocre.

The next team who gets Pearl will be getting annual March Madness invitations - even as early as his first year.

It was a heartbreaker, but the sweet 16 matchup with Ohio State in 2007 was a lot of fun. Don't know that I'd ever hurt more after a UT basketball loss than I did after that one.
