So, here is the plan...

Fire Bruce Pearl. Say,"...and don't every come back!"

Hire the best available. Give him two years (publicly 5 years).

In the mean time, Pearl can go work on his tan and do a little color commentating to bide his time. He is a likable guy, so he can get back some cred nationally.

In 2 years, re-hire Bruce Pearl (if necessary)...We are back in business.
