He is lawyer. Each time we see him in this setting we get a glimps of his coaching philosophy. Educating these young men in life and football is building a solid program. We fans need to give him some time. It was a telling sign on signing day when he revealed the fact that he understands that his time to produce is short. His hard work will hopefully pay off and he is here for a long time. We need the stablility to regain the level we are used to having.

As an Eagle Scout and serving Asst SM this was nice to see. I think DD's VFL program and BSA share the same core values and goals, I am sure excited to see VFL endure beyond one coaches tenure like scouting has.

My favorite quote when working with impressionable youth:

It is easier to build a boy than mend a man.

We've had our share of off field examples of this quote so I'm hoping VFL builds them now so they won't have to be fixed later

Definitely worth the ten minutes it took to watch it. Thanks for posting this Vol2424.

The more I hear him the more he impresses me with his ability to communicate. There is always a central point he is trying to make, and he does a great job explaining why it is important and what the results are going to be.

I agree with the poster above about glimpses of his coaching philosophy. He still hasn't proven to me that he can win, but I like what I see.

LOL about the player after seeing "The Color Orange" - "I didn't know that guy played football"

I didn't get to see all the games back during Conredge's playing time but i saw a lot and he could flat out scat and make folks miss. I'm sure most of today's players don't know what a record is or an 8-track player either. LOL.

I'm a firm Dooley supporter; he's certainly got a tough job but good folks to help him.

Back in the day, some scalawag stole the 8-track player right out of my truck.

I guess they did me a favor, eh?
