I did see on TOS a picture was posted of this kid at an interview and he was sporting a camo UT Hat. I don't think he has visited yet, so the fact he even has one speaks volumes. Maybe we can get an early commit to get us started.

Kid looks pretty good. Extremely fast and quick for his size. Relentless motor. If he does end up being a Vol, we will have two mean and relentless DT's in O'Brien and Couch. Kind of looking like the old days especially if we continue to get relentless DE's.

LT coaching them, and recruiting them, has me confident. I am very glad he changed to coaching the DL. Especially after he stocked the LB. Position for CPS.

Seriously? The LB position is nowhere near stocked. It is by far the weakest position talent-wise on the entire roster IMO.

2011 DT Danny O'Brien

ESPNU 150 Watch List DT Danny O'Brien, who might be the top prospect in Michigan for the class of 2012, only has two offers (Tennessee, Michigan), and he has a good guess as to why.

"I think most schools think I'm a lock to Tennessee," O'Brien told ESPN Recruiting's Chris Pool. "I like Tennessee a lot. I liked the campus when I visited last year. I like the coaches. I liked the game atmosphere when I went to the Alabama game and I'm a hunter and fisherman and there's plenty of places to do that in Tennessee."

O'Brien, however, says that he remains open to all suitors and would like to hear from Alabama, LSU, Auburn, USC, Iowa, Nebraska and Boston College. He may be a ways off from making a decision, but clearly the Vols are the team to beat.

Should be a 250 player and very well could be the #1 rated player in the state of Michigan for the '12 class.

He's on the ESPNU 150 watchlist and is one of the top 10 DTs in the nation.

His leverage and drive is almost perfect... he needs 15 more good lbs and he'd be a monster for us.
