'11 GA RB Isaiah Crowell

Bama fans are notorious for not knowing anything about other SEC teams. They invented football! Don't ever forget it. We are all just fortunate that they allow fans of other teams to have someone to cheer for.

Tell me about it. I have nothing against Bama. There's plenty of Bama fans who live here in the metro Atlanta area. Some are a joy to talk to but some are just annoying, misinformed, bandwagon fans.

Bama fan is just upset because they want to win the recruiting rankings battle so they can gloat about all the talent they have while losing 3 games and watching the SECC from afar. They wanted Crowell so that they could say they had 10 All-American 5* tailbacks on their roster to run behind that big OL while their DA OC was busy trying to get the ball into the hands of Hanks, Maze, and some of their other average receivers.

I understand that arie was a great recruit and UT and many others were after him, that is a given, but maybe UGA thinks that Harrow is a ball player too. That is their choice but calling UGA desperate is clueless to say the least. UA has did a good job with Crowell but UGA has locked down these instate kids this year. The question is why do they keep going to UGA?

Two words my friend, just two words.

All kidding aside, some of our instate kids grow up wanting to wear the red and black. The top prospects also fall in love with coach Richt and want to play for him. All you have to do is look at the results from this year. Can you honestly name me another 6-7 team that will have the same kind of a class that we will, not very many.

Maze is a good WR

TideWarrior is one of the good guys.

He seems like a cool guy but the guy seems to have his feelings hurt because all indications point to Crowell picking UGA. I can understand some comments on this site that are legit but this guy come on here with some National Enquire type of comments against UGA.

You benefit from in-state talent. I would guess your success rate of offer to commitments outside the state of Georgia is around 10%.

TideWarrior, buddy are you CLUELESS when it comes to UGA. Please try to stick with talking about topics that you have knowledge of.

Do you really think Richt is a good coach?

FWIW. In my very strong opinion... all signs would have still pointed to IC signing with UGA even if Harrow was never born. lol

Really so you are telling me that Harrow is better than the others I mentioned? Just curious.

Do you see as a concern that an offer was made to a HS coach to get a player?

Do you believe that CMR is a great coach that will bring back UGA?

Answer those questions? Let us see how a UGA insider cann shed some light.

Lilyodi,

Don't wast your time with this "Tide Warrior" guy. Its obvious he's mad because of Crowell POSSIBLY is coming to UGA.

UA was not 6-7 but 7-6 after CNS first season and look how that class turned out for the next year. Jones, Ingram, Dareus, Barron and Hightower. Not to shabby.

In regards to IC I have never said we would get him or am I bothered if we do not. He will not make or break our class. He would help it and be a nice back up for TR this coming fall but again we do have TR and next year I am pretty sure we will pick up some good RBs. So I am not upset about IC or hurt wherever he decides to go.

Yes sir. I will stand by our coach this next season coming up because he's earned the opportunity to turn this thing around. If coach Richt can't do it this year, then yes it would be an appropriate time to make a change.

Richt is putting together a nice class. A ton of talent this year for the grab. Not sure he knows what to do with it. Smart coaches hire smarter coaches as assistants. Not sure that's what he has done ala Phil Fulmer. Good man tho.

Bama will always be in good shape as long as Napoleon is in charge. I'm a HUGE fan of Saban, I love what the guy does defensively, he's the best in the business.

All it takes is one recruiting class to turn things around and I believe our coaches have been busting tail to get the top instate prospects to stay home, that says alot about sense of urgency our staff has right now.

I have nothing against you as a Bama fan, just check your facts man, that's it.

As long as UGA can lock the state down they will always have a top class becuase of the talent within the state.

I just think sometimes only so many times as a fan you can watch and keep saying next year it will happen. It is not like UGA has not recruited well over the last few years, they just have not performed well. With the talent they had this year they could have walked away with the SEC east but was not in the picture for most of the season.

CMR no matter what happens to him in the future he will land at another top program but sometimes players just do not believe in that system and fail to produce. Does UGA have talent yes. Do they have a great class coming even for some wild change and IC does not commit to them yes. But is it enough for UGA and CMR to turn the program around. I do not see it different from any other class as of late.

The one saving grace for UGA is if they do part ways with CMR the cupboard will not be bare and the coach incoming will be very happy.

I live in Ga. and have had this convo many times before. I truly believe CMR is a great coach. His issues lie in his loyalty to existing staff. He tends to promote from within till his assistants get to postitions they aren't qualified for. This is what has hurt CMR.

You're right on all of that. There's one thing that I hate about coach Richt and its what could eventually get him canned, too much loyalty for some incompetent assistants. All bets are off now though, he knows his azz is on the line and he's made the much needed changes. Now its just time to see how it translates on the field, enough with all the positive talk.

My girls family are all dawgs so i go to alot of games. You need richt to have a fire lit under his arse regarding discipline and bobo. Get rid of that moron and you might beat Florida more than once this decade. Jmo.
