According to my spreadsheet...when Lane is figured into our score (which hasn't happened on their site yet) we will have 1498 points...which puts us ahead of both Cal and Nebraska (barely)....

Moore will likely put us in the upper 1500's which would leap frog us over Texas Tech and maybe UNC

WE jumped Cal not Nebreska though. Needed 5 points to jump them. We are 16th now. I still believe we finish 9th.

So, then Moore is scheduled to officially announce this Wednesday? Man, I never could have realistically envisioned such a stacked secondary in this recruiting class a year ago. Heck, for that matter, not even two weeks ago!

I will hope the news on Moore is true, because it was painfully obvious to many of us during the last 2 seasons that any decent QB w/a little time could pick us apart at will.

I have seen several posters mention Art Evans being gone. Was he a senior or is there some other reason for his departure?

Is a very different ballplayer than TP. TP is a run stuffer on a great D and isn't remotely close to the cog in that machine. Berry's greatness will be because he's fast, can cover and is a great tackler. Best all around skillset at safety in years.

Evans was a waste is why he's gone. He played with no heart and Dooley is just taking some more of the trash out. Secondary was a lot better when he wasn't playing. Did he even break up a pass?

Apparently, Dooley and others are/were very suspicious about where Art got a car from. They told him they wanted to know where he got it from or how he paid for it and he could not provide any answers so he was let go. That may not be completely accurate, but I think that's the gist of it.
