I also like this from Tom Satkowiak:

That is just rediculous. It's not like this was a huge game to the extent that that football game was.

Not meaning to rain on the parade but a little context can go a long way.

Actually this was a huge win especially when it comes tourney time. Also allows us to go into that UCONN game without any pressure and a great chance to get this team and their coach a win.

If the Vols can beat Connecticut in Hartford this weekend, it would complete a rare trifecta for the Vols -- beating three of the top teams in the Big East.

Uh, how often do we play three Big East teams in one season?

If we beat UCONN, that will complete a huge win over 3 highly ranked Big East teams to let everyone know that Tennessee, suspension or not, is capable of competing with anyone in the country and a big Bruce Pearl stick-it-where-the-sunshine-doesn't hit ya to all the naysayers. It would be a big win.:eek:k::dance2::rock:

A win at UConn gives the Vols the Big East Championship and they didn't have to beat Syracuse to do it (Villanova, Pitt, UConn), oh my!:eek:k:

“I can’t have contact on game day so rather than hide in the hotel let’s protect the integrity of the suspension,’’ Pearl said.

Is that accurate?

After watching UConn and Villanova, I didn't see anything that we couldn't handle.

Considering the suspension and the fact that uga is attempting a comeback in bb, it was pretty big. The arena was fairly packed, and the last ga home game I saw, there were maybe 1,000 fans. This game will be remembered for a while.

Um---------Ridiculous.

CBP can't talk to his players 2 hours before the game, 3 hours after the game and 3 hours during the game. That's roughly 8 hours. Why would CBP need to talk to his players outside of this range? To make sure they are brushing their teeth in the morning and at night?

So he can have contact during gameday. Thanks.

Big East is overrated. Doesn't mean they aren't good, they are. It just isn't all its cracked up to be.

Maybe if they can just get a glimpse of CBP it will make them play better.

If there is a game that tips off @ 8, he can go over the game plan, watch film, lead the shoot around and discuss things with the team until 6, according to you, on game day.

Pearl said he can't have contact during game day, which is not true. Especially for a PM game he can do plenty with the team during a game day.

This latest lie is just another case of pulling on the heart strings.

Players were either in class, eating, or traveling to GA, during the day yesterday, which leaves little time to see your players, much less coach them.
