Metallica vs Guns N Roses

I will not pretend to be a Metallica fan. I think they are sell outs and suck. I am, though, a huge GNR fan. I was wondering on your thoughts of who is the better band.

'tallica's first three albums were solid but after cliff died, they had some of the worst most godawful wanktastic metal ever produced.

I happen to love both bands. GNR had a higher ceiling, but pissed it all away with too much drugs and booze, along with Axl's overinflated ego. Appetite for Destruction was one of the best albums of all time. Metallica's pinnacle was the Black Album, but they certainly had a nice comeback with Death Magnetic.

Agreed, I even liked The Spaghetti Incident, tho not as well as those you mentioned.

Most overrated album of all-time. Decent but it doesn't compare to Ride the Lightning/Master of Puppets/...And Justice For All.
