A couple weeks ago, he and the Auburn coaches decided he should re-open his recruitment.

Tennessee offered last week.

“I have a lot of interest in Tennessee,” Lanier said. “I want to get back to the SEC. I know that Tennessee has a lot of tradition and has a great college atmosphere.”

For what it's worth I'm pretty sure the basketball punishment for USC was self imposed.

Interest in UT and wants to get back in the SEC. I think this may be the JUCO DB we've been looking for.

I hope we can bring Izzy in.

Earlier I stated that I wanted us to go after Jabriel Washington just to pull him from The Enemy, but now, with this guy's name popping up, I guess we don't need the likes of him.

My thought exactly. As soon as all the rumors are floated about AU, we TN fans seem to forget we have rumors out there too. Ours are just a little older--and scarier.

How in the world so? The good thing for us is nothing continues to surface on Hostessgate. Besides if Orgeron and Kiffin cheated, I doubt anything is found that connects them or the university; I despise the two but they are like the Jedi masters of cheating and bending the rules.

Other offers out of HS per Rivals were Kentucky, Troy, and Mississippi State.

It shows he signed a LOI to Auburn in '09, so I guess he was a sign and place.
