'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Well he will see a really sloppy game and 100,000 of the quietest fans in the land.

Given it went to 3 OTs and they won with 67 points on the board, he actually saw a great game. Don't think anything will come of it.

He and Dallas will be an awesome pull for us at receiver this year. Add them with the guys we have and we have a very talented group of receivers.

Dallas was quoted on TOS as saying that he was recruited by UT to play as a DB, not as receiver.

The comment surprised me, but that is what he said.

Hadn't read that, interesting. We'll see, I'm sure that if he is capable of playing it he would see the field sooner there than at receiver.

:hi: I said VD was a DB a while back and ppl jumped down my throat *pause*

If we sign Arnett I could see Dallas being a DB. We need at least one WR this class though.

True but even if they don't get Arnett they could put Dallas at DB, meline back to WR and that would put us in about the same position.

We also have the transfer from MTSU. I can't think of his name right now, but I do remember reading that he was impressive in preseason practices.

The staff was really bragging about Demario in Fall camp, let's just hope he can continue to progress & carry it over into next season. If the staff really wants Dallas at DB we could really use Williams.

Arnetts will be an OV?

No, he was definitely recruited as a WR.

The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.35. He was recruited by the Vols to play wideout.

"The first person I called was coach Baggett, because I know he'll be my position coach."

Hey LV I'm thinking you're right but can I ask why did he state Wilcox multiple times about who he talked to after he committed. It surprised me too b/c I instantly thought they recruited him as a CB as well. Maybe both if things don't turn out well?

Wilcox could have been the one recruiting him. I don't know who had which area possibly.

I think the same thing that happened to Teague & meline is going to happen to VD

He's real raw and he would probably a faster & bigger impact onthe team by starting out on defense.

I know Wilcox recruits a part of GA so maybe that was his area. He did talk to Baggett first though.

He may move when he gets here, but we are telling him nothing but WR right now.
