Reasons to come to Tennessee:
-It's in the SEC! Duh!!
-100,000+ loyal and rabid fans wearing bright orange.
-The Vol Navy on the Tennessee River.
-The Vol Walk.
-Located in the beautiful mountains of east Tennessee.
-The checkerboard end zones.
-Smokey. And his pal Davy Crockett.
-The "Orange Nation" student section.
-The school is fantastic. Great educational programs at your disposal.
-The aforementioned 100K rabid fans singing "Rocky Top" at the top of their lungs.
-The Pride of the Southland Marching Band.
-Derek Dooley.
-Charlie Baggett.
-Jim Chaney.
-We need playmakers. You are a playmaker. We need you. :clapping:
If we have a good QB Chaney will be awesome. If we don't we are screwed. Guy is pass happy.
LOL again. This whole statement is just completely false.
The offense currently has a 55/45 split between run & pass....55% pass, 45% run.
Obviously a 50/50 split is what teams strive for....but when you're constantly playing from behind (see UT), you are forced to throw the ball more.
True, and other factors skew the desired play calling... such as not being able to complete a forward pass due to protection or talent... or having a wild beast as your runningback. That tends to change things a bit.
IDK that Chaney and Dooley's offensive philosophies are going to have cohesion going forward. It was very late when Kiffin jumped ship last year, I could see Chaney leaving after this season.LOL again. This whole statement is just completely false.
