The "f-bomb"...wow

I'll say this and then get off my high horse. I say the f-word. I cant deny that. I have never "chanted it" in a public place, nor would I want my kid to do so.

So, as soon as the game is over you're going to go back to using your regular lexicon?

No. I use whatever language I want to. I'm saying these years are our time to do so. I understand that there's a time when you have to grow up and move into the real world, and obviously I'm not going to be walking around the workplace cussing at my boss, but right now, I don;t have to worry about that

You remind me of all those teenage kids I used to coach in High School that would tell me "I can do or say whateva I want, Im grown."

Good luck to you.

Not at all what I said, sir. You think that all of the younger generation is disrespectful and ignorant. I am neither. I was raised by parents who barely cussed, if ever. I know how to show people respect, but that is the last thing on my mind when my team is getting slaughtered by the one team that I hate more than anything else in the world. Sorry for being a fan.

Being a "fan" overrides class? Good luck after you graduate there big guy.

You forget, Im an Aggie. I know a thing or two about being "slaughtered by a rival or two, and never have I felt the need to chant the f-word.

You can apologize for having a poor choice in wording to show your "fandom".

haha thanks, I plan on spending my time more wisely than sitting on VN all day

see, that is more ignorance from you young man......own your own business then pop off....here is a clue, your attitude about life will not get you there

Why are u arguing w college kids? They are just kids being kids. U sound ridiculous even arguing with them.

please don't act like you're the only one who ever sat in the student section. All I'm saying is it's a word that doesn't deserve to be used in a public setting much less in a large chant. Maybe it's the way I was raised

and I would have paid $10 for a ticket in a heartbeat. Acting like it's an insane amount of money is ridiculous

You said that you thought a "lack of class was taking hold"-- how exactly does me stating that we chanted and acted the same way when I was there, make me act like I'm the only person that ever sat in the student section?

Regardless, my initial point stands...nothing has changed. I can remember being a little boy sitting in Memorial Gymnasium having oranges thrown at me from the student section, while the chants of "We're gonna beat the hell out of you" rang from the rafters.

And as far as students having to pay for their tickets? You probably don't want to get me started on that...I wouldn't want to take away or detract from this REALLY important thread by getting us off topic.

All evidence to the contrary.

I won't apologize for anything. What you guys don't understand is that the world is changing. The "f-bomb" is nowhere near as uncommon as it used to be. Our world is getting more and more profane, you guys are just behind the curve.

replace profane with lazy and ignorant and I agree completely

I'm calling this one in favor of the Bible thumpers. They always win in the South because they never shut up. Hush your dirty mouths you ignorant children. The adults have spoken.

1. Would you be offended with someone using “Bad” language?
2. Would you be offended with the person(s) in front of you standing and cheering for the VOLS?
3. Would you be offended if Jimmy Hymans reports news two years after the fact?

If you answered yes on 2 or more of these questions, you will not be allowed into any Games, no matter how much $$ you donated to the athletic department. It is also advised that you stay at home in the comforts of your own “entertainment” room and enjoy a lovely afternoon of SEC football on the big screen…
