Official UT vs UGA Game Thread

At least this is easier IMO to take than last weeks loss. At least we were never really in it. Didn't have to have my hopes dashed at the last minute

"sometimes you ask for it when you bring on a coaching change" lol

Anybody still dumb enough to think Foolmer wasn't done only needs to look at the abomination of a roster he left behind. That commentator is a dumbass.

We have solid QB's, guys the problem isn't the QB's. I like Bray he's gonna be special. I like Simms he's tough and can play too. Our line is just not ready to compete in the SEC. We have no running game. Every team saw the Oregon game. Now they put 8 in the box and blitz about every play. Simms don't have he time to throw. Bray had time cause the game was already out of hand and there was no need to blitz. Hopefully, everyone one don't start calling for Bray to tart. It aint Simms fault. He's played good and as bout as good as any QB could under the circumstances.

Again, my personal thanks to Eric Gordon for handing UGA 17 points.

Without you, Eric, this might have been a game.

I have lowered my expectations.

This is a 5-7, and maybe 4-8 team.

I still believe in Dooley, and his staff, but they have GOT to start putting a prepared team on the field...thin roster or not.

Go Vols.

This is going to be a long season guys, but I still thing we will bounce back! Poole is getting bigger and much quicker

I'm really not sure, with our D, who we're going to beat besides Memphis and Vandy.

And I say that in all honesty. Not trying to be a negavol.

Simms has made some big plays today with Hunter and Neal, but terrible drives.

This has been my lone issue with Simms, he has some great plays in him, but he just isn't consistent enough to give us a chance to win a lot games. I was hoping the TD throw to Hunter was the coaches taking the leash off of him and allowing him to make some plays instead of take the sack when the pocket collapses. Unfortunately, that was a rare play vs. a routine play.

I really think they need to give Bray more live snaps, he release definitely helps our O-line out.

+1

I think Dooley should have kicked the FG if nothing but to give Palardy some confidence. Plus give us more points. It's hard to over come 17 points from TO's.
