First, I am not excusing his infractions. I think he deserves to be punished for breaking the rules, but...
does it make you feel any better by knowing the nature of what he did? I know I would feel much worse about the situation if it had come out that he had paid for a car or forged grade reports or something of that nature rather than having a kid for chips and sodas at his house.
I know for some of you this will be a non-issue because it is only as important as the effect it has on the team, and in that way, it doesn't matter what 'actually' happened. But I've already had a lot of people talk about how Bruce is a cheater and this or that, but it seems easier to defend his actions than it would be were the accusations different. (Obviously, the lying is the biggest deal, but not to opposing fans. They just label him a cheater and move on.)
