Even if they had improper contact, how serious could this end up being? I wouldn't think it would be on the level of a tutor doing all their work or agent's parties.

Although the 'AA is a bunch of invalids, I don't see them giving Bruce much leeway if anything is found.

yea i got the text and saw that over on gvxtra. i am afraid to hear what the ncaa is finding. could be a big mess in store for our basketball program.

I think it's only basketball. And it's looking into the things that have been mentioned in the paper and on ESPN: excessive contact with recruits, and the use of unauthorized phones.

I am thinking if they vacate wins last seasons Elite 8 should be safe. That would really hurt if they took away our first Elite 8 after that long a wait. (no trying to rhyme)

I heard the football team received a letter. Are we sure the bball team is getting one?
Bad news if so. This is usually worse for the coach in the long run. Indiana got hammered because they hired a known cheater.

The big problem I see, is if little things add up it could lead to a lack of institutional control. That is not good. Hammy will have to be fired if that is the case.

I doubt they take away games for a recruiting violation, only if we were using a player who was not eligible to play. This will likely be a punishment that has to do with recruiting restrictions I would think.

Well, the Ramar rumors are swirling. That would screw us out of 2 sweet 16 seasons. This just sucks.
