I took a class that the local Sheriffs Dept gives. I only remembered one move because the instructor slammed me to the mat 4 or 5 times (literally flipped me in the air) and I was so disoriented I didn't do the rest of the class. True Story.

I didn't volunteer to demonstrate...apparently I wasn't doing the move right and he stepped in for my partner (who was a skeeve) and just said "What if I came at you like this..." did the move and flipped me over. I hit the mat so hard I couldn't breathe. Then said "Try again" and next thing I know he comes up behind me and again I was on the floor. I ended up with my back out of alignment and a trip to the chiro. I never went back...needless to say.
