Whether the guy was stealing or not, that rent a cop went WAY over the line.

Well depends on the entire scope of the situation. If the guy got hostile then he's within his means, also depends on company policy. Some companies lp policy is to use physical force to recover merchandise.

Why not just break his knees then? You can subdue a guy without choking him. All this video shows is that the LP is not trained to properly due his job. His idea of training is watching MMA fights and copying the moves. I'm not against the use of physical force if needed but there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. This was the wrong way.

The guy that shot this video said that as soon as the guy walked out of the store he was tackled, thats why he started shooting.
