Ground zero mosque.

How can you not agree with that? It's arguing without a leg to stand on. It's loaded with condescension because I hate it when people argue against things they know NOTHING about.

Me too!

"During our journey toward the hill of Javor, near Srebrenica and Ozren, all the Serbian villages which we came across were wholly massacred. In the villages between Vlasenica and Kladanj we discovered children who had been impaled upon stakes, their small limbs still distorted by pain, resembling insects stuck through by pins."

The above quote is from:
"Assassins au nom de Dieu"
Author: Herve Lauriere
Paris, 1951, page 58

(Having arrived just after the passage of a muslim nazi SS division through the area.)

Except for a just cause...this is quite open ended. What exactly is a just cause? That can really get broad in scope.

[/FONT]

Basically there is Allah-given permission to kill here. And this is very "eye for an eye". I compare that to the 'turn the other cheek' command by Jesus. I'm sure 'context' will be argued here.

More that give permisssion, command it be done.

And it goes beyond the 'eye for and eye' concept if you think about it.

Perhaps your girlfried would be willing then to expalin the 10 million Christians slaughtered in the 20th century in the name of islamic jihad??

Why has islam from it's beginning endeavored to destroy any sign of any other religion as if it never existed??

acesaudi4.jpg

4th Century Assyrian Church in Saudi Arabia

Islam has been the reason for more rapes, murders, genocides and slavery than all the other 'religions' in the history of the world put together, this is indesputable FACT!

If there is any effin' moron in the discussion, it is YOU.

Islam stresses peace only when it has achieved complete political, religious and economic domination and even then if there remain any not under the rule of islam then they belong to the 'house of war' and muslims are commanded to make war in someway through 'jihad' against those who are considered to be infidels.

Still that judgement is left to God and not man to enact.

Bumper sticker smumker sticker.

But if that would have been muhammed he would have cut off their heads and then curse them. (keeping the desirable young girls as concubines.)

Perhaps you problem is with Judaism rather than Christianity.

Who's buttload of rules have I broken, those of the ummah??

I merely gave an accurate account of history and quoted directly from the words of islamic leaders, that isn't spreading hate, fyi.

I preach not hate but think it cowardly not to rebuke the hatred preached by muslim leaders.

So who am I pissing off???? Is this some sort of veiled threat??

You are dead wrong again when you say; " major flaw of the Bible is that of fear-mongering", because the most often two repeated words in the Bible are; "fear not."

As a matter of fact it doesn't speak well for the fearful at all.

Maybe I've diressed myself, the bottom line is that muhammed was an illiterate man who had seizures he thought were caused by the devil, his wife convinced them that it came from God and then he became a false profit who denies the divinity of Jesus Christ.

His teachings have been a scourge on mankind since day one and continue to be so right now. Islam is the number one problem confronting civilization today.

Nothing you say can be taken in any sort of objective view. Reading your posts is like being at an anti abortion ralley - with millions of pictures of dead babies staring you in the face.

The problem with all organized religion is people are taught not to think for themselves. Do this and don't do that because its in the Bible/Koran/whatever. The church tells people what to do and congregations follow blindly. Organized religion is all about control.

People would be much better off if they simply took the time to think for themselves, develop a code to live by (I don't care where it comes from), follow it, and own it.

That simply isn't true.

While it may be very true of islam, concerning Christianiy that just ain't so.

One word, man: inquisition. The beheadings are easier to use in illustrating your point because they're happening right now and Christianity's taken a temporary break from pulling heathens apart with horses, or sharpening their guillotines, or drowning evil witches.

Also, fear mongering is every bit as effective as intolerance. Know why? Again, most people inhabiting this planet lack self-awareness, the ability to think for themselves, and most of all, most people are idiots.

What was the reason for the inquisition??

In one word "taqiyya" or deception, one of the tennets of islam.

At the end of the reign of islam on the Iberian penensula when the muslims were driven out after 700 years of total domination, there were those who still those left who were secret muslims.

During the reign of islam muslim soldiers were sent out to gather the most beautiful young girls and they were seized from their families to be sent off to be concubines to the sultans.

Exorbitant taxes were charged to those didn't declare themselves to be muslims.

The most physical young men in appearance were also taken, castrated so they would be more docile slaves, had their tongues cut out so they couldn't complain and sent back to the mideast to live the rest of their miserable lives as servants to their muslim masters.

The inquisition may have been over the top but they sure meant to rid themselves of the last roots of islam.

And when you say that "most people are idiots", I sure hope you include your own self, if not you are in great error.

Page 19, good information on islam and it's history both recent and ancient.

ps; I don't think the guillotines were manned in the name of any religion, that was class warfare was it not?? Like the many murders committed by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara and the current anti-white genocide going on in South Africa in the name of social justice.

I'm an argumentative guy, but I honestly can't dignify all that propaganda/trash you just dumped on this thread with a rational response. Clearly, you're out of your gourd... I don't think I've ever met anyone who would have lacked enough sanity to even remotely agree with anything you've said.

Seriously, go see a shrink.

So, you don't think people should think for themselves and follow the teachings of the Bible their own way? There are a million ways to accept the lessons in it, what man dictates HOW one should follow it?

Islam is the number one problem confronting civilization today.

Nah, I think it's just folks like you. Spreading the sentiment that the world's largest religion needs to be utterly destroyed IS hate, regardless of why you do it.

You're just a nutcase with an agenda.

fortunately, your agenda remains cryptic.

So, you're pissing and moaning even when I'm attacking just one lunatic. Is it your time of the month or do you just have an affinity for me right now?

You don't seem to dig opinions very much.

really? Organized religion is one dude? Magic.

I couldn't care less about you, except when you say stupid crap in such a definitive manner, which is more often than it should be.

I'm a big fan of opinions that are supportable or well reasoned. Yours are just yours.

Well, if you think organized religion is such a wonderful thing, then you go right on ahead and keep praying and kneeling when some clergyman in a robe says so. Sing the same songs that everyone is singing and say the same prayers that everyone is saying. Don't forget to give tithe and send your kids to Sunday school so they get a good dose of knowledge about how they should live their lives as they age. Then they can grow up and perpetuate the whole cycle with their children.

I lived that life and I have every right to say what I've said. You can say whatever the hell you think is keeping me under your boot, but we both know it's just you looking for one little chunk of what you deem as irrationality and using it as an excuse to be a little, sniveling jerk.

Fear not. I, too, was young. I thought I was the grand poobah of reason... but there's your support and reason for my hatred for the concept of organized religion. I hope experience counts.

And what actually gets me, is that I haven't seen one opinion of yours in this thread. They're just opinions of opinions. You oughta contribute something in here other than this bullspat you only seem comfortable doing.

I'll pray that find the Lord before you die

I didn't say anything about myself bowing at the altar. I simply said that your definitive approach makes you look stupid. Many far brighter have tried to answer the questions and struggled, but here you are with the solution.

You have no idea about my spiritual approach to the world - none, yet you're speculating rampantly because I called your approach to the debate senseless. Seems to me you might not be as well reasoned as your "experience" would suggest.

See, I have taken quite a bit of Physics and in my experience, Einstein was an utter lunatic for theorizing the way he did. These guys supporting him now are just worshipers at his altar and can't know what the hell they're talking about.

I never said you DID, oh defensive one. "If you" is a purely conceptual expression. It's not a definitive approach... it's my opinion. I was in the organized religion, I saw it for what it was, I formed my own personal opinion of it, and I took that opinion and posted it here when a an opposing view was expressed. This is how arguing works. You can't admit it, but you have it out for me in this specific thread in this specific moment. If you were just here to bring down the 'stupid' opinions, then I would not be your only target... so quit playing that card. It's only fortifying the distinct possibility that you're just a (simply put) jerk.

You're comparing my woes regarding the concept of organized religion with criticizing Einstein. Do we finally have some insight to your spiritual approach, or are you once again just being a jerk?

Oh, you were just talking to me in order to speak to the broad audience here. I wasn't aware, because 100% of the rest of your tripe you have excused by telling us all it was laser focused at one or two posters. Forgive me if I misunderstood, but please understand it's confusing for those of us who lack the capacity to grasp the murky.

I don't have anything out for you. I simply like taking blowhards like yourself to the woodshed when they say things the way you do. People try to do it to me here all the time. I hope they find the going harder.

The Einstein commentary was simply my opinion, based upon experience. Does it not count? I'm damn near an expert, having sat in class upon class regarding the topic.

But you know what? I'm done arguing with you. This thread is just turning into a silly pissing contest between you and I. It's hijacking the original point this thread was trying to address.

(I'm sure you feel good that you got your response in before this post. I'm glad you've championed yourself as the one who stuffs the blowhards... what a joke.)

the freaking thread was about a mosque being built at the spot where muslims killed 3,000 Americans for being at work. You turned it into a place to educate us on the fact that we need to read more because someone here spells Koran differently than you do. You are an expert since you date a muslim. You have been to church and decided organized religion is bunk. What did I miss?

and now's the time to get back to the topic?

Come on BPV, you know that thread topics evolve the further in it we go. At least its still related to the original topic.
