possible recruiting violations thanks to kiffin

Who would have ever thought old man Davis was dead on saying Kiffin would screw us the same way he did the Raiders? And in just a year and a half.

I have to say, at first I thought he was a crazy old man who had lost touch with reality. But knowing what I know now, he isn't all gone. Not yet.

The only worry you should ever have with a secondary is if an investigation of it will lead to uncovering a major violation.

But when it comes to the clowns of the AA, no real worry of them uncovering anything.

Clay Travis is saying " UT has gone state's evidence on this and cooperated on nailing them. Bro. in law David Reaves could end Kiffin if he cooperates with NCAA."

Who wants to beat that Ole' Kiffin doesn't hesitate to spill the beans on everything that happened here at UT.

Everyone cheats in recruiting, that is no secret, if you believe otherwise you are a fool. With that said, not everyone gets caught, hopefully we aren't about to open a can of worms.

This has bad written all over it.

Things never tend to be as bad as some think. Example "the brawl". We are lucky Kiff was only here for the time he was. Very lucky.
We will come out fine on this in the end.

I think we will be alright as long as they are just investigating what happened under Kiffin. Now if they dig up some stuff on Phil then we could be in trouble. It sounds like they are trying to nail Kiffin and Orgeron, not UT.

LWS , I have a question. I am not sure if you know about the post I am fixing to ask you about , but I believe you might. It was on another site and I know it's a message board and the crediblity is always in question. But this one got erased because IMO , it told too much.

It was right before Kippy was hired or just as he was hired. It was titled something like "Kiffin is one and done". In other words he was gone even if he didn't bolt on us. Too many people wanted him out that had the power to make it happen. Whoever posted it said that Kippy would be named head coach and didn't mention a search for a new one at the time. Of couse I thought at the time it was all bs. But was any of this true? It was posted very early in the morning that day and it was gone VERY fast.

I believe about 3 or 4 days later , Kippy was named head coach and Kiffin had left for SC.

I ask you Larry because you know more than 99% of us. I don't claim to know anything about this and I am not trying to act as if I am some sort of insider. I just happend to see this posted. I found it strange given the timing and the events that followed. Was Kiffin being forced out? Any truth to this?

How amazing would it be? Gosh, karma is SUCH a BIT-H... Skrew over the University of Tennessee and the State of Tennessee, and see what happens to you. You don't coach again. HAHA.

Add his career to that as well. He spills the beans on Kiffin and he will never get another collegiate job again.

I don't know about that. It may take some time for him to work his way back up the coaching ladder, just look at our basketball coach. Didn't he turn someone in on violations while at BC? He could only find a job at a small school but he worked his way back and is now a head coach in the SEC.

Just saying.

Well, Reaves was screwed over by Kiff when he didn't get a job on the staff at USC. How funny would it be if karma came back to Kiff when Reaves turns in Kiff to the NCAA. That would be karma at its best!

Take off the Orange glasses for a minute, how many times in the history of the NCAA have the punishment followed a coach instead of the school? It may come off as making him look pretty bad and yes I do think that D Reeves could destroy him, but if punishment is issued UTK is paying the priced, not Kiff, Not O, Not Gran, it will be us.

Wow, wonder how good 8,9 or 10 wins a season (every season) would look if kiffin had never set foot in Tn. ? Hammy's fault we are were we are and he should go now before he screwes up anything else.

Lane Kiffin to Reaves, "Don't say a thing, and I'll make sure you are taken care of financially for a very long time"
