'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Hopefully he is only beefing them(USC) up to give them high hopes and then only to shoot them down in the end. Would be nice. Just a little wishful thinking.

USC vs. UT when it comes to recruiting I'd like to see Dooley beat kiff out for this guy, as much as I hate to say it I will believe it when I see it.

I know our WR corps is loaded with young talent and all but SC's is absolutely ridiculous. Woods, Prater and Ambles last year. And they'll somehow end up with Farmer, Blackwell and maybe Arnett this year.

But with everything I've seen from Arnett, he's 100% sure of himself and his abilities so a depth chart isn't going to scare him one bit.

With the names you just listed, it really should. Just saying. I understand the point you are making though. I just honestly don't know what he sees in SC. I don't want to hear crap like its Cali, warm/nice weather all the time, its Hollywood, notoriety because its all BS really. He'll get noticed when he gets to the NFL.

It is obviously USCs ability to produce top flight NFL receivers.....oh wait a second. Nevermind.

BS. Arnett dropped ND if I had to guess

nope, we stopped contacting him for a) his grades b) his attitude.

one of our assistant coaches made a comment off-record to an irish insider claiming that "DA just doesnt fit in at notre dame"

watch and see...nothing will come of justice's comments because DA knows he has no chance of ever qualifying for notre dame.

Look I can play this game too!

A source close to the TN athletic Dept told me that all of the top 50 prospects that don't have TN in their top 5's have been told to look elsewhere because Dooley doesn't feel they fit our system. TIFWIIWWINAA

i hope they are happy about that rabasa commit lol

if they only knew..

his film actually looks really impressive, despite the conflicting reports by espn, rivals, and scout.

espn is very high on him (4 star, #89 player in the country)

rivals id not as high on rabassa, but they do have him as a high 3 star (5.7) and scout has him ranked similarly..

i do not want to hijack this thread, but if you could provide me with information on what you know i would really appreciate it bro.

fact A) DA does not have good grades (you can find that information anywhere)

fact B) ND has higher admission standards then the NCAA minimum requirements (we all know this)

fact C) DA is a self proclaimed "#1 WR in the country" and has requested a jersey number for the school he will be attending" so obviously he has an attitude problem.

...i could care less if you chose not to believe me, ND does not want DA.

with that said, if he chooses to go somewhere else as a UT fan i certainly wouldnt be heartbroken. he is a good player, but is he worth all the trouble? i have my concerns...

Surely you have more than this to determine he has an attitude problem. Was Jimmy Clausen the self proclaimed "#1 QB in the country" a few years ago?

I was just pulling your leg no worries:hi:

But in all honesty, think of all the great NFL receivers right now, almost all of them have pretty stong attitudes...I think it is becoming part of the territory. We need talent and as long a DA doesn't have any criminal concerns then I dont think it is something that can't be fixed!

he is an athlete no doubt but he disappears in big games..and sometimes get dominated by inferior competition..there is a reason he is going to notre dame (no offense) and not the big 3 ..idk where on the board he is with fsu or uf but in miami he is a plan d kid..ima root for the kid cuz he is from down here..but he is a lil overrated..i was shocked to see chickillo and teddy ranked lower than him in espn

Hilarious...you do realize that you're last starting QB pulled up to the college football HOF in a limo in order to announce his commitment right?

Are you saying you're a UT fan too; or, just stating as "if" you were.... Cause if you really are a UT fan then I'd have to say you're in a minority to be a ND & UT fan. Seems like most ND and UT fans I know don't care much for the other team..... btw, i have lots of family in NW Indiana, and in TN. So, I hear from a good bit on both sides.
