I would bet you have never seen the inside of a English class

Perhaps the stories about BB not being able to beat out Poole is why BB is gone.
I feel no loss for a quitter. That's precisely the kind of attitude Dooley needs to get rid off. I don't know what terms CDD put on the table, but I'd rather see Brown quit now than later.
The operative word here is "perhaps." Fact is you don't know why BB left. I too have theories such as his feeling slighted by an effort to finally make his own decision rather than his "agent" or father's or brother's by DD's lack of effort to be available. But I refuse to out either BB or DD down because in the end like you I don't know a darn thing.
The bottomline here is that many BB haters like yourself are are ticked because he didn't do what you wanted him to. People tend to be that way. As long as you do what they want, you're wonderful. When you don't you're Satan himself.
You don't read much here, do you? I've done nothing but support Brown since he was being recruited. So, I don't think that makes me a 'hater.'
Moreover, I do know something. He skipped a meeting with his head football coach and, instead, sent a text to tell him he was leaving Tennessee.
That's enough for me to post what I posted.
I'm all for players who put everything they've got into being the best Vols they can be. These actions are inconsistent with that standard.
Dooley wins this one. And, it isn't even close.

All this. ^
I'm not trying to speak for everyone here, but we're not mad because "he didn't do what we wanted him to do." I'm upset with him (BB) for not doing what he said he would do, what he committed to do. Being a man means taking responsibility for your decisions regardless of the circumstances. So I'm disappointed that he basically took the kiffin way out, tucked his tail and ran.
Glad to have Poole. I hope he stays injury free and shuts up all the doubters! Go Vols!!
