Coach Dooley: Brown? Brown? Brown?
Bray:Um, he's gone. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Bryce Brown pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
Coach Dooley: Thank you, Tyler.
Bray: No problem whatsoever.
When does Fall practice start? hopefully by then this run will be over by then.
Brown will be the starting RB if he decides to come back--he's one of the top talents available.
If this were the case then, I'd almost expect Poole to walk off the field, atleast I would not blame him if he did!! BB "may" be better, but he does not bleed orange, and from what I have seen and heard about Poole, he wants to be a Vol!!
August 4th.
If no way has noticed, Brown now off UT Roster on UT site.. I don't think that anything new has happened I just think the web master finally realized he was still listed on there and took him off along with Myles. If he wants to return with CDD stipulations, I imagine they would let him.
With as much elaboration as you know or care to provide, what are the stipulations as you believe them to be?
starts at the bottom and works his way up is the only one I've heard... I think BB is a good citizen but sure with recent troubles, everyone is getting a straight and narrow message so that will likely be in there somewhere... Honestly, I think his issues are more health related and I'm not getting that anywhere. Just feels that way to me.. I wouldn't be shocked if he took the year off
If he takes a year off, how does that affect his eligibility if he does/does not stay with us?
If he takes year off, likely would go to Juco to maintain academic eligibility (guess he could do online courses) and just not play football. That woudl be the smartest thing because then his options are return here or enroll elsewhere.
If he laid completly out of school, would affect his eligibility anywhere for the next year. He would not be where he should be for staying on pace required for graduation.
I'm just laying out options because have no clue what he might decide. Not sure he knows yet either...
oh, ok. Then I wonder if this means that he is gone for sure?
Could be he has notified coaches he is not returning. With all that is going on, that would be way down the list of things our coaches are going to talk about right now. I doubt UT would say anything until someone in press asks them the question anyway.
He has not been part of football team since February so there is really nothing for Tennessee to announce. That announcemnt was made when spring practice started by Dooley.
Last I heard a few weeks ago was we would not say no if he was interested in coming back under Dooley's terms.
