I don't see how people have no friends at all. Nerdy people can find other nerdy people to hang with.

Yeah, that's a situation on another level. There's a lot of good work being done on that. From what I read, anyway.

But, in today's world a lot of people are friends to others until the other's money runs out. Sad.

I've taken several classes on the autism spectrum. You don't have to display hand flapping and rocking back and forth to have autism. Its more common than people realize.

Also I don't think technology brings us closer together I think it pulls us away from actual social interaction.

And, another one on the head for you tonight. Some do/say things on the internet they wouldn't in a social setting. Too many checks and balances in a face to face. Or, so I think.
