Interview with Coach Dooley...

Such a drastic change of attitude. Can you imagine Kiffin saying anything about being a young coach who might have to learn from some of his early mistakes? I cant see how people can root against him, its like some on here want him to fail so they can say I told you so. Is he the answer, I dont know for sure, but I sure hope so!

Because on a message board, all some people feel they have is their "e-cred". Proving people wrong is what they want to do. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to prove some people wrong, but overall it's about having different perspectives than others for me. That's why I love this board. It's fun, it's witty, but sometimes the negativity can take its toll.

yea i was also glad to hear that great stuff as well other then ''yea back in my days at USC blah blah blah''.
i really hope and pray he does very well here.

I think it's a safe bet we won't be showing LSU videos in our hall of fame room.

This guy was never meant to be a WAC coach. He was destined to get an opportunity like this one.

But he took a challenge and couldn't get the necessary resources to turn in around in the time he was there. Nothing more than that, IMO. He has all the resources here he needs.

I thought he did pretty well being the football coach AND also the AD. still put up a decent record(my 2 cents)

He went 4-8 in his third year in the WAC, yet procures the head coaching job at UTk? That's a downright disgrace.
Also very telling that he was unable to hire any big-time assistants, thus settling for the Hinshaws and Russells of the world.

The guy just sounds like he knows what he is talking about. 7 years with Saban clearly rubbed off on him.

At times last year I wondered what in the hell FLK was talking about sometimes. And the nervous leg-rubs and elbow rubs made it seem like everything he said was him lying through his teeth.

Kiffin lying?? No way, he would never do that. He's a man of integrity and ethics.
