I don't think there's any chance Reviez starts this year.

We have so many superior athletes at LB. I still don't know why everyone is in love with this guy. Yeah, he works hard - but he's slow, short, and not very good.

I'd go with Vic, Gerald, and Darren out of your tossups, based on what we've seen so far.

The only place where I disagree with you is WLB. I'm not so sure we don't see Lathers of Frazier there.

Not a bad starting lineup, really, if Simms can perform and if the O-line can gel. Now depth. . .

The reason I put Simms there right now is based on if the season started tomorrow. I actually do believe Bray will beat out Simms.

I disagree with Vic and Gerald. I believe Cody will win out and if Ben is healthy he should be the starter there.

That's the one I struggled with most. I have no idea if Dooley is going to move them there. What I don't get is why not move A. Johnson to WLB. But that's just me.

Defensively, it looks pretty decent. I like our DT's, just not the depth. And the O-Line, man, it seems like it's going to be brutal, although Schofield and James look like future studs.

Your season starting tomorrow is a bit hit and miss, since you have some injured guys in starting spots. I understand where you're going with it though. It's kinda a summation of where the competition lies as we stand.

I think Cody might win out, but I think Vic has the edge right now. And Gerald. . . man, maybe I was just too impressed by the O&W game, but he was playing like a house afire.

I agree with your list except I think Johnson gets the starting nod over Reveiz. Nothing against Reveiz as a player... but Johnson has excelled this entire Spring and we still don't know where Reveiz sits with his knee.

Reveiz has raved about Johnson and his capabilities (both mental and physical).

Touche. Ok we'll play the whole "If everyone was healthy and we had a game tomorrow, this would be our starters" card. :)

Well, while I don't know how much responsibility the MLB is going to have to call out plays and assignments like Monte's D did, I still think Nick is going to win out in the end...but I do expect Johnson to see lots of playing time.

You're kind of right, Reviz kind of reminds me of Steven Pearl, they both aren't as talented as the next guy and they both leave you holding your breathe at times but they both play there heart out and give 100% for UT every time there wearing that orange jersey.

I don't know about that. Didn't Monte say that Reveiz was playing at an all-SEC level last year before he got hurt? If you believe him, Reveiz ain't on Pearl's level.

Reviez is just small. If he was was 6-2, 6-3 he'd get NFL looks next year. Pearl has very little talent.

Why is everyone hating on Reveiz. He was the most visible player besides Berry during the first 4 games last year on defense. He's quick enough and what he lacks in size and speed, he makes up for with anticipation and brains. He's the captain of the defense and makes all the calls. This guy has been productive whenever he is in the game. Please don't try to tell us any different.
