What is everyone doing to the O&W game?

This will be my first "grown-up" (bringing my wife and kids) trip to Neyland for the O&W game. This will be the kids and my wife's 1st trip to Neyland, including my 6 month old son :dance2:.

We are planning on doing the fan day, meet and greet, and the game but I was just wondering if there were any other family-oriented Volnation gatherings going on. Thanks!

Autograph session starts at 10:30 am at Haslam. People will be lined up by 9 am if it is anything like last year. Neyland gates open at 12:30 for the 2 pm game. I'm going to be there early to get Luke Stocker's autograph. I mo he is going to be the next big thing out of UT in the NFL draft. By the way, there is no Vol Walk. What a shame! I LOVE that Tennessee tradition and I hope CDD restores it to its old format. I hated what CLK did to it.

I disagree. The purpose of the VolWalk is so the fans can personally wish the team good luck prior to the game. LK shortened it so much fewer fans got to get close to the players and it became a Hollywood mob scene with police escorts. This is Knoxville, not USC. LK just didn't get us Big Orange fans. I don't hate the man, just wish he would have understood what TN is about.

awww...i'd have to see it to see it for myslef why though, i remeber we entered a different gate last year with all of the construction. Unless the entire section is roped off, i don't see why we still couldn't do it.

If you haven't seen Neyland since last year, you're in for a pretty big surprise with all the construction going on.

There will be a gathering at Calhoun's before the game. I will be out on the patio, to enjoy the mostly pristine weather Saturday.

He pulled up in a bus at the Torch. Most people gathered between there and the stadium anyway.

At the vol walk last year me and my brother were walking around looking for a place to stand and a cop walks up to us and told us to back up. 1st row.

The Vol Walk for the O&W Game last year was awesome.I was right in front of the entrance to Gate 21.First Row.
