haha +1 for you sir. These guys kill me. There is a group of them that have never contributed anything positive that I have seen. We just won a first round game. We are likely headed for the sweet sixteen. But in their minds, CBP blows. Man can't recruit or coach. He's got us this far and he has an incredibly good class coming in. Idk, maybe these guys are just anti-semantic haha.

Nice that we can get a CBP argument during an NCAA tournament WHILE our team is advancing. Can't we just agree to disagree here? I'm sure that most rational people can see that CBP has upgraded the program from where it was. Those same rational people can tell that they guy is not a perfect coach and has not had the talent level to take us to the elite level yet. He's earned a few more years to get us there, and this could certainly be the year where we break through to get past the Sweet 16.

I agree. I like Pearl overall and am glad he is our coach. the main issue is all these posters that make asinine claims about him. That is typically what gets the ball rolling.

You said he could not coach players up. I may have overembellished, but you still are saying our coach is not deserving of recognition when he has us in the Sweet Sixteen 2 out of the last three years with another chance this year.

Another example of what I'm talking about. How do you even consider yourself a UT fan when all you people do is bash our coach. Same thing in the football forum. It kills me as a staunch supporter to see our coaches insulted unjustifiably.

Telling the truth isn't the same as bashing him. Wright has been to the Elite Eight and the Final Four. Pearl hasn't.

Well. Voldad makes it seem like coaches can pick and choose the best players. It makes it kinda hard when the best players don't even give the school a glance, you know what I mean?

And when you dont get sure-fire 5 stars you end up with a lot of inconsistent players. Which is what we have now.

When he first got here, he had to take chances on guys with "upside" and "potential." But now, thanks to CBP and the job he has done, some top-level talent is starting to look at UT.

See, there is a point. You just need to work on your comprehension skills.
