not sure if this is some kind of message or what, seems kind of odd with the biggest game of the year coming up.

I wonder if CBP didn't think that the team gave up last night and this is his way of saying if you're going to quit on the coaching staff then we aren't going to waste our time trying to coach this team! Let's get ready for next year!

Maybe CBP watched all of the film of the team whining about fouls on one end of the court as Florida scored on a fast break, and decided to really give them something to whine about.

So they take last night off and now get another day off. I think most of the better coaches in the country would be practicing their players today.

Extreme measures like not practicing your players before the game?

That'll show UK. Then, even we won't know what our game plan is.

Well, if the gameplan last night was to suck roally, as it appeared to be, then maybe not knowing the plan ahead of time would be a good thing.

Maybe Bruce and Co are meeting on a gameplan rather than practicing stuff that doesn't work.

My coach runs our butts off if we do something like that. He doesn't give us a break and cancel practice.

Probably not a bad idea.

Give them a break to get healthy and rest up.

The end of the season isn't when you want to tire down a short-staffed group. If we're going to play dumb, we need to be healthy and rested. If we play tired and dumb, may as well just skip the game.

this happened when i played college ball, the coaches are disgusted and they'll do this to get their attention.

I hope he reminded Renaldo to keep shooting jumpers because to Beat Kentucky much like Kansas we are going to need Swiper to step up. Because if Steven pearl has to play a lot of minutes against Kansas we are toast. Its a long shot but I think Renaldo can come out of this. Maybe even if he refuses to shoot a 3 ball unless we are just thumping the cats and he is WIDE OPEN. other than that Bruce should just have him do Stevens role but he is more gifted.

and as long as his son keeps playing hard and forcing TO's like he did last night he will keep getting minutes, because when Hall and Woolridge are in there the opposite team's players practically walk to the basket..Pearl will at least make them run him over or shoot over him
