CJ Watson puts up 40

CJ and Stephen Curry definitely work very well together. Very exciting play when they are both on the court at the same time.

Good stuff CJ. Keep it up

Watson scored 23 points in the first half, matching his season high for a game, and made 15 of his first 16 shots.

Awesome! Though, he needs to improve his 2.4 assists per game stat as a point guard. Also, not a big fan of the hawk cut...

My two favorite NBA players by a mile.

Some GSW faithful were asking why they wouldn't trade Ellis with Steph and CJ waiting in the wings. Seems their arguments are gaining fuel every game Ellis is out.

If Golden State fans think Curry and C.J. would be a winning NBA backcourt, that explains why they are stupid enough to pay to watch the product that has been put on the floor the last 15 years.

because they need a better front court. they have a glutton of guards, and if watson and curry are servicable, they could trade ellis and get a good post player.

This is the kind of statement that can't be refuted in the short term but is basically useless.

GS is paying 3 times as much for Ellis as they are for curry and watson combined, yet the productivity and wins are up (if just slightly) with him out. that would at least indicate it's worth considering a trade to beef up more glaring holes in their roster.

That doesn't sound stupid to me. Or to this fan:

Curry and Watson: Must-see basketball – Warriors Wire - The Press Democrat - Santa Rosa, CA - Archive

or this one:

Poole: Golden State Warriors should trade Monta Ellis - Inside Bay Area

Every shooting guard in the West hopes Golden State's front office is as idiotic as those two. The idea of Curry or Watson guarding the Kobes, Eric Gordons, and JR Smiths of the world opens historic scoring possibilities.

Remind me of all the teams that have traded elite post players for a guard.

hatvol, why cant you just say good game CJ! Like everyone else? Instead of trying to prove you are an NBA GM.

I've interviewed CJ for this site. I was one of a vast minority of posters here who said he could play in the NBA while the majority of the sheep here were trying to pass Chris Lofton off as a prospect. I just don't like seeing idiocy posted. I didn't attack anyone for saying
"Good game, CJ." I ripped the people trying to pass off the folly that he and Stephanie Curry could be a productive NBA backcourt. It would help if you would remotely know what you're talking about before you post. Then, you'd only be mildly annoying as opposed to being this board's intellectual equivalent of Sarah Palin.
