If our coaches really told him they like him more than Bray, and he turned down a real chance to play and a better education at Vandy then yes hes getting screwed.

This is potential great news. We may be getting one of the best players in the country. Who cares how we get him. This is UT. Our athletes carry guns, our coaches lie, our athletic director is scum and our hostesses do what ever it takes. Love it or leave it. If you arnt with us Im sure that preacher coaching down in Athens would love to have you. We are stealing his top kid so he probably needs a hug right now.

This guy is a Georgia fan in disguise hoping that these recruits read this board and see how snake-like "Vol" fans are and leave us.

I was born and raised a vol fan and graduated from UT last year. Thanks for trying tho. Im a vol fan through and through.

Sorry if I get a little worked up about UT football. I was in a hunting accident awhile back and have to spend pretty much all my time inside now. I get really into this stuff. FWIW UGA fans really are saying the coaches have told Nance this stuff and they really are worried about Rogers. Nance says he will deliver him.

Lots of UGA fans are really worried this morning about Rogers. Lots of UGA guys from Calhoun seem to think Rogers and Nance will be playing college football together.

would be an amazing coup if we could get him (Rogers). Nance can come out for a year or two and then transfer to UTC.

No way Nance goes to UGA. I did here the kid wants to be a Doctor or Lawyer and is really high on on Vandy for his education. Some one said this has more to do with the Dad than the Kid. The kid wants to get a great education the Dad wants the kid to be a big time football player.

I wonder why Rogers would put so much of the weight of his own decision on where Nance wants to go? I like the fact that it helps our chances though.

I would really like to here the whole Nance/Rogers story. People have suggested its a blindside type situation. At the same time iv read articles that talk about his mom being in his life. The consensus seems to be Da'rick feels like he owes something to this family and the dad is trying to cash it in on a better offer for his son.

Maybe I'm a little behind on this one (this is entirely possible), but I haven't come across anything concrete that has stated that these two are any type of package deal. I just assumed that Rogers was doing Nash a favor by visiting with him to increase his exposure and get him an offer.

Anyone care to provide an article, quote, or even the sketchy friend of a friend of a source? I never really figured Rogers was even considering UT, but some of you guys are talking like its a possibility.
